Learning good manners and respect for others is essential to success in the home, school and community.  The mission of Classy Kids is to help children gain the skills and confidence to handle themselves appropriately in a variety of social situations. 

Classy Kids offers manners workshops for pre-school and elementary aged children.  These fun, interactive sessions incorporate a variety of teaching methods, including hands-on activities, crafts and children’s literature. 

What Do The Experts Say?

Child development experts emphasize that it is critically important to teach kids to behave in a civil way—not only for consideration of others, but for their own good as well.  In the March 2007 edition of Parents magazine, William J. Doherty, Ph.D., reported  that children who aren’t taught to behave considerately are at a disadvantage compared with their peers who are.  Etiquette author Sheryl Eberly states, “If we want our children to be confident poised adults, we need to teach them the rules of etiquette today.”
